Blades Of Glory ...

Two rival Olympic figure skaters are stripped of their medals and banned from the sport after a nasty brawl at the World Championships. After years of obscurity, the two men put aside their differences and exploit a loophole that allows them to compete in the pairs figure skating category.
Caught the show in JB, Malaysia with Jackson and Angela. It's a show with lots of stupid scenes and corny lines so i guess not everybody will enjoy the show. But i do, some scenes were soo hilarious that i was tearing with laughter e.g. their skating routine where Will Ferrell actually lifted up and supported Jon Heder at his groin.
Probably i might not be willing to pay to watch it in sg given the high cinema ticket price but for RM 10 ... i guess it's pretty ok then .... hahahaha

The Phantom of the Opera

Paris 1870, when the resident diva Carlotta refuses to perform for the new patron of the Opera Populaire, Christine (Rebecca Pitcher) is promoted from the chorus line into the leading role. She instantly becomes the darling of the audience and she equates her performance to her unknown teacher, a voice she hears coming from the catacombs of the theatre. As interest in her talents increases and she rekindles her relationship with childhood sweetheart Raoul (John Bowles), the voice makes his presence known, commanding to be recognised as the true owner of the theatre, for he is the fabled Phantom of the Opera (Brad Little).

Christine totally mesmerized by Phantom's singing ..... however, there's just one tiny problem .... the Phantom seems a bit too well built ... hahaha

Brad Little ... the man behind the mask ...he has a powerful voice but my friends were saying they expected Phantom voice to be kind of on the huskier side ... Can really feel the anguish and pain from his singing when Christine rejected his love.

This guy totally distracted me during the show ... He played the role of Raoul, Christine's childhood sweetheart, and he just look so handsome and dashing on the stage ... hahaha

This is my first time to the theatre with the gang (Elsa, Viv, Lynn, Koon, Elsa's cousins, Jace and Tanya) and it's truly an enjoyable experience and i'm glad i chose the Phantom of Opera for my first theatre play. The songs were wonderful, many funny lines. glam costumes, nice effects and backdrops, the fantastic singings and performance by the casts. I'm already looking forward to my next play ... hahahaha
That's my ticket .... my very first ticket to the theatre ... hahaha ... and it's money well-spent ....

Look at the crowds waiting to get their hands on the very expensive merchandises ....... regret never bought the mask worn by Phantom for Ah Fai but on second thoughts, his singing is unbearable sia .... hahahaha

기초 회화용 한국어 (Basic Conversational Korean)

Finally decided to learn Korean again ... after 2 failed attempts at it and 1 failed attempt at Japanese and not counting many other failure in life .... wow, did not realise there's so many failures in my life ... ... quite sad ...

Well, went for my 1st lesson on 3rd Mar 07 at Nus Extension, Park Mall. Although the course fee was more expensive than other language school outside but they provided advancement courses to help students master the language. I'm determined to complete the course since i already paid for it and probably to gain back some self-confidence. I want to be able to accomplish somethings in life so probably learning an additional language might be the first step for me ...

Kinda of realised that life is short and one never knows what awaits them tomorrow ...
I do not want to be those worrying about things that have yet to happen ...
I am striving to lead a life that's deem the best for myself and my family .....

Cannot differentiate which is SunRise or SunSet .... but i'm hoping i can learn to appreciate both of them ....

i'm the Boss, i'm their Sunshine....

Holiday?
