They been all praises for Breanna being cute as a button (Thank you guys) and finally the chance to bring Breanna to meet them.

Really glad we all took the initiative to keep in contact and for Cherry to travel all the way down to Bukit Panjang for lunch. Hopefully the next time we meet up, will be in Australia instead...hehehe...see you guys again soon!!!

Oh, not forgetting ... Thanks for Breanna's X'mas presents....

Blades Of Glory ...

Two rival Olympic figure skaters are stripped of their medals and banned from the sport after a nasty brawl at the World Championships. After years of obscurity, the two men put aside their differences and exploit a loophole that allows them to compete in the pairs figure skating category.
Caught the show in JB, Malaysia with Jackson and Angela. It's a show with lots of stupid scenes and corny lines so i guess not everybody will enjoy the show. But i do, some scenes were soo hilarious that i was tearing with laughter e.g. their skating routine where Will Ferrell actually lifted up and supported Jon Heder at his groin.
Probably i might not be willing to pay to watch it in sg given the high cinema ticket price but for RM 10 ... i guess it's pretty ok then .... hahahaha

The Phantom of the Opera

Paris 1870, when the resident diva Carlotta refuses to perform for the new patron of the Opera Populaire, Christine (Rebecca Pitcher) is promoted from the chorus line into the leading role. She instantly becomes the darling of the audience and she equates her performance to her unknown teacher, a voice she hears coming from the catacombs of the theatre. As interest in her talents increases and she rekindles her relationship with childhood sweetheart Raoul (John Bowles), the voice makes his presence known, commanding to be recognised as the true owner of the theatre, for he is the fabled Phantom of the Opera (Brad Little).

Christine totally mesmerized by Phantom's singing ..... however, there's just one tiny problem .... the Phantom seems a bit too well built ... hahaha

Brad Little ... the man behind the mask ...he has a powerful voice but my friends were saying they expected Phantom voice to be kind of on the huskier side ... Can really feel the anguish and pain from his singing when Christine rejected his love.

This guy totally distracted me during the show ... He played the role of Raoul, Christine's childhood sweetheart, and he just look so handsome and dashing on the stage ... hahaha

This is my first time to the theatre with the gang (Elsa, Viv, Lynn, Koon, Elsa's cousins, Jace and Tanya) and it's truly an enjoyable experience and i'm glad i chose the Phantom of Opera for my first theatre play. The songs were wonderful, many funny lines. glam costumes, nice effects and backdrops, the fantastic singings and performance by the casts. I'm already looking forward to my next play ... hahahaha
That's my ticket .... my very first ticket to the theatre ... hahaha ... and it's money well-spent ....

Look at the crowds waiting to get their hands on the very expensive merchandises ....... regret never bought the mask worn by Phantom for Ah Fai but on second thoughts, his singing is unbearable sia .... hahahaha

Shed tears of laughter today!!!

Last minute movie date with Elsa. her cousin and husband to watch Wild Hogs at The Cathay Cineplex at 7:15pm. Met up with Elsa around 6:50pm and got the tickets at 7pm. Surprisingly, we still managed to get a pretty good aisle seats for the for the 4 of us.

It's my first visit to Cathay Cineplex after they refurbished the place. Looks really spacious inside the building and of course looks really new too. Inside the cinema which is The Grand Cathay, place really look good too. Comfortable seating with ample leg room which means people sitting inside the row able to get past us without the ladies trying to squeeze their legs up the chair and the guys standing up. Oh, and the best of all .... Their popcorns really tasted good with real taste of caramel and toasted to a light shade of brown ... yummie ... hahaha

Story:
Firm friends since high school, Doug (Allen), Woody (Travolta), Bobby (Lawrence), and Dudley (Macy) are a bunch of aging, middle-income suburbanites who like to strap on their Harleys at the weekend. Allen is a dentist, Macy is a computer programmer, Lawrence is a hen-pecked plumber whose year off to write a self-help book has just come to an end, and Travolta's high-powered investor used to have it all... until his supermodel girlfriend dumped him. These are four guys in need of some serious Adventure and they find it when Woody suggests they take a week off and ride to the coast for the thrill of it, because it's there, because people like road movies and funny things tend to happen on the open road to the Pacific ......

Despite the many negative reviews for this movie .... i still enjoy it tremendously and found myself laughing throughout and the laughs just came louder and harder as the movie progressed. The foursome kept getting into incrediblely funny situations such as meeting up a nice decent family who came for a swim at the lagoon just after macy convinced the rest to go skin dipping in the exact same lagooon. It's more of like old-school kind of jokes and it reminds me of my younger days where my friends and myself would bowed over with laughter over silly things which might seems stupid to others.

And i'm crossing my fingers in hope that my friendships with all of you will remain firm for the many years to come regardless of whatever stupid and silly things i do .......

.................... Luv U All ..............................

Beautiful Sunday....

Such a nice morning for cycling ... slightly cloudy and windy ....
Went to East Coast Park with my friend who's hoping to master the art of cycling ...
So there we are at a quiet corner and both of us keeping our fingers crossed .. hoping for no casualties and bloodshed .. hahaha
Had a fun morning but had to end the day at around 11am to appease our rumbling stomach after all the workouts. Had lunch at Marine Parade Hawker Centre before proceeding to our next stop ... Singapore Changi Airport ...

Picked up my brother-in-law and his wife at the airport who's returning from their Bangkok shopping trip ... They sure had a enjoyable time there with the purchased of a new suitcase to pack in those additional stuffs they bought .... hahaha ...

Shopping is sure therapeutic and i'm already looking forward for my next trip there ..
