First Day in Phuket....

Finally....the plane bound for Phuket, where we will spend the next 7 days rotting away .... hahaha. But first, think better go walk walk and see any good buys around Terminal 2.

Saw this interesting cafe called "The Sport Bar" with chair seats of basketballs and scoccer balls.

View of the skies from my window seat .... my first time on a small plane with 6 seats along the row, 3 from the left and 3 from the right. The flight was fully booked with lots and lots of Ang Mohs from connecting flights so i had to be seated away from ah fai. However, the guy seated along my row at the aisle kinda of look like Clark Kent ... Superman style ... sharp features and nice smile but the pretty blondie seated beside me is his girlfriend ... Sad Sad... but at least it won't be a boring flight ... hahaha

My lunch! Steam fish fillet with potatos and vegetable plus a glass of red wine to go along with it.
Finally ... Phuket International Airport ... ah fai waiting for our bags ...

Our honeymoon suit .... the room was really big with a big toilet too but no bathtub ... However, the air-conditioning dun seems to be working very well and cannot cool down the room at all. Room remained warm after an hour so that left us with no choice but to change room...It's sad but air-conditioning is a must at Phuket sia....humid and hot all day long.

Was given a junior suite after we complained about our first room air-con. But the junior suite is even bigger and still only 1 air-con. In the end, they managed to get us a room at the new wing. Decent room except for a woody smell but that problem was solved with those aroma incenses sold along the street...

Finally unpacked but worn out liao .... decided to go exploring and find dinner after some rest ... Walked around 15 mins to reach their happening street "Blanga St" where all the pubs and clubs are located. We kinda of early so the roads are still quiet except for some girls standing outside the pubs and along the road. We walked towards the end of the road and saw this pizza place so decided to go in and grab a quick dinner. Ordered a Cheese Garlic Bread which tasted really good with generous amount of cheese and a Meat Deluxe Pizza.
And another 15 mins walk back to the hotel to get a shower and rest .....
