We signed up for a day trip to Koh PhiPhi the previous with the hotel ... it costs us 3000 bath for 2 paxs ... Quite reasonable cos it's a full day with snorkelling gear and lunch included. The tour rep picked us up at 7am from the hotel with a mini-van full of friendly europeans. Reached the harbour after a 45 mins ride.
Finally on the vessel and MoMoKelly decided to take in the morning sun with nice sea breeze blowing ....
Finally reached Koh PhiPhi after an hour and 20mins ride .... did not alight as the vessel was dropping those with tickets to Koh PhiPhi only.... after a 20 mins wait ... we are on our way to explore more islands and nice beaches ....
First stop ... monkey beach .... however no monkeys as it's high tide and the beach covered up with water ... but the water is quite clear with lots of fishes swimming ..... my dear husband and me decide to give snorkelling a try since it's included inside the tour fee ... after putting on our life jackets which is a must due to strong currents and our snorkelling .. we joined the queue to get into the water ...
We took a picture of a speedboat with those ppl swimming and snorkelling .... it might look pretty easy but once u get into the water .... it's a tough struggle with the currents and trying to adjust ur snorkelling gear nicely on your face .... plus the water is really SALTY ...yucks ... the both of us tried in vain to snorkel for about 15mins before giving up ..... we can't seems to fit the mask nicely on our faces and fight the currents at the same time ... hahaha .... so we decided to just float around and see all the other tourists trying hard to kick water and and snorkel. By the time we managed to float back to the vessel ... the 2 of us were like feeling weak and giddy ..... must be due to the lack of regular exercise and a tummy that's rumbling away.... hahaha
Lunchtime .... served at 1pm thai time which is around 2pm sgp time ... no wander the 2 of us were feeling weak and giddy .... lunch is buffet style and taste okie ... think anything also taste good when one is starving....
Took a walk along the beaches of PhiPhi island after lunch ... lots of foreigners as usual ... water cooling and clear but surprisingly. the beach is full of small pebbles with some litters along the shoreline unlike Patong beach's fine sand and clean shoreline ....
Dinnertime .... were starving after the day trip ... walked down the busy street and came across this Japanese restaurant just 5mins from our hotel ... all the restaurants along the streets displayed a wide selections of seafood outside .... i think foreigners quite like the idea of seeing what you eat but for me...it's just seafood with a fishy smell ...yucks ... so we both went into the restaurant knowing we would not order any fish ...
The interior of the restaurant looks quite nice .... no crowd cos we still pretty early ... about 6:30pm thai time but my sgp time (7:30pm) tummy already calling for food liao ...
The two hungry fellas waiting for their food ... seems like the guy still in control but the poor gal had resorted to chewing her fingers ... so sad ...
Hot towels provided before the meal .. nice touch ....

Fai's Katsudon ..... tasted quite good and served with lots of Enoki mushrooms ... interesting...

Went by a Burger King while on our way to a shopping mall ... noticed Pork Burger in their menu .... interesting ... but not keen to try cos noted thailand's pork taste weird .... had some pork sausages in the pizze on our 1st day and we felt that it kinda of tasted weird ... 
Their newly-opened shopping mall ... JungCeylon ... Got opening sale but found nothing interesting ... prices pretty similar to sgp ... maybe because of it's touristy location ... We also noted that asian were seldom stopped by vendors promoting their stuffs along the streets ... think it's because foreigners will pay much higher for their stuffs and still felt it's cheaper then their own countries while we, asians, can get similar stuffs for a much cheaper prices in our own countries ..... hahaha .... but not all of them are willing to pay cos overheard some of the ang mohs complaining of the high prices compared to Bangkok ... so the smarter ones are those who chose to visit Bangkok first before coming over to Phuket.

My buy of the day .... jelly cones which we dun see in sgp nowsaday which tasted nice... chocolated flavour popcorns which tasted really sweet and more of coffee then chocolate taste .. a hello kitty grape drink with collagen (good for women's complexion) and honey green tea which taste quite okie....
